Hi everyone! My name is Miss Mona! I was advertised as "free mama cat with babies" in a local neighborhood when a total cat guy took me and my babies in. We were enrolled with Second Chance Pets. My baby boys and I are now available for adoption! A little about me..... I am a beautiful (per my foster mom) brown tabby with nice, short fur. I CRAVE human attention and affection and I knead and purr a lot - especially when you talk sweetly to me. Touch me and the elevator butt goes up! I am very submissive and sweet. Coming from the scary streets trying to raise a small family, I am now in heaven. I am amazing with other kitties which is unusual for a former mama- I really appreciate soft beds and cuddles. I have had a tough life up until entering the program but I am a happy kitty now:) I love my people and I am seeking a forever home with someone who needs a best friend. Love, Mona

The cat adoption fee is $110 (or $175 for two cats). Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Petco Clear Lake store located at 2410 Bay Area Boulevard (at Space Center). All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped.
