Hey! Iggy Pup here. I have a "Lust for Life" and would love to share my story with you.....My owner went to the county shelter and tried to surrender me and my five buddies. They turned her away but provided rehoming resources. Well, she was not interested in that so she took off and left us abandoned in her apartment. Animal Control was called out and we were impounded. SCARY! The shelter sent out a plea for help and we were all thankfully rescued. My buddy Eggbert, who has already been adopted, and I were taken into SCP. I am about 8-10 years old and I have slight cataracts and arthritis. Don't worry, this doesn't keep me down! I love going for short walks and sitting with my humans on a recliner:) I am great with other dogs and even cats! I am a couch potato at heart with bouts of energy. Hopefully I have many, many more years in me- my bloodwork was great and have had a dental to remove all my rotten teeth from my previous lack of care! I have medium length fur that needs a good brushing every now and again but doesn't have to be professionally trimmed. I am looking for my forever home and hoping to find this through SCP. I will sleep with you and I am potty trained - I can even be crated! I am a friendly guy and love all of my peeps..... especially anyone is has food, I'm a total piggy!

Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 or $245 for puppies. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas.
