Hello world, My name is Blossom and I was found abandoned and living behind a bar. The nice police officer who found me picked me up had me spayed, vaccinated etc. She even took me home to foster when I followed her to her car crying the whole way after she tried to release me after my spay. Trap-neuter-release was just not for me- sorry people! Incredible day - but I worked hard for this new life!!!! I am still in street cat mode - I eat everything I see (as if I am starving) and I am desperate for human affection and love. Hey, living on the streets is not easy! I am settling down - a lot - and getting used to being cared for and fed now:) I am a non-stop purr machine, love to make biscuits while we snuggle, and need a ton of attention. I am learning quickly to appreciate indoor house cat life and I am getting along with the other cats in my foster home. The big dog in my home frightens me a bit but I will get used to it :) You can come meet me and you will likely hear my purr once you enter Petco :) I even wear a harness without a care! Maybe come meet me one day? You will love me! Love, Blossom

The cat adoption fee is $110 (or $175 for two cats). Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Petco Clear Lake store located at 2410 Bay Area Boulevard (at Space Center). All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped. If interested in one of our cats please feel free to complete an application, found on our website www.secondchancepets.org, and return it to us for pre-review. We do not have a phone number so please email us at pets2adopt@yahoo.com or come visit with us on Saturday!
