This is a bit of a heart-wrencher.... These brothers were adopted in 2017 as young boys. They originally came from a high volume shelter and they were very over-crowded. These guys needed out! We took them into foster care and they were adopted as confident, happy teenagers. They lived their best life for about 6 years. Very sadly, they had to be rehomed due to a very sick human in the home. The family really, really love them but they had to do what was best for their human son. Now, returned to foster care, they have had a really tough adjustment. They hid for three weeks straight. They are just now coming out of their little furry shells and showing their super sweet sides. They are still acting depressed and confused and REALLY want a home to call their own. They are big tabby and white boys and they are very submissive and docile. They are still a little playful but mainly they are big couch potato cats:) They don't scratch up furniture and they are very well-behaved. They hate going places in carriers so going back and forth to adoption events will be hard for them. Check out their gorgeous matching eyes! These guys are big ole babies and need a very loving home to reside. They are tolerant of nice dogs and fine with other kitties. Give them a look?

The cat adoption fee is $110 (or $175 for two cats). Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Petco Clear Lake store located at 2410 Bay Area Boulevard (at Space Center). All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped. If interested in one of our cats please feel free to complete an application, found on our website www.secondchancepets.org, and return it to us for pre-review. We do not have a phone number so please email us at pets2adopt@yahoo.com or come visit with us on Saturday!
