Hey! Ryder here - I suffered some trauma and was impounded by animal control officers. I was originally thought to have been hit by a car. Now we are not real sure. I had lots of scrapes on my tummy and my ACL was torn. I had surgery on my right back knee on November 7th.  I am now restricted to my crate except for potty breaks and belly rubs for eight weeks.  This is hard for me because I just want to RUN and PLAY! I live in a home with other dogs but I cannot play with them - torture! I am a sweet and ultra friendly boy and I am house-broken! I am hoping to be ready to go to a new home in early January. Keep me in mind if you are looking for a constant companion! I do need training, so that will be a must for my adopter:)  Love, Ryder

Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 or $245 for puppies. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas.
