Hi, I'm Roo, a greyhound mix silly lover-boy. My owner died so now my best buddy Lockheed and I are looking for new forever homes. I'm still young, approximately a year old and weigh about 60 pounds. I'm kid and dog friendly, but my foster doesn't have any cats so not sure about them. I'm house and crate trained and working on my leash skills. I'm a gentle, goofy and sweet-tempered companion who loves to give kisses. I've got a smooth, short coat which is easy to care for. I'm a high energy dog that needs a "job" to do but then I'm also happy to be with my people and relax. How about a jogging buddy? I'm ready to go! I love to run. An active family with another dog friend would be great, but if your heart is big enough for two newbies, Lockheed and I together would be fantastic.

Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 or $245 for puppies. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas.
