Hi, I'm Lockheed, a pittie mix with a big heart. My owner died so now I and my best bud Roo are looking for a new forever home. I'm a young adult, approximately two years old and weigh about 55 pounds. I'm kid and dog friendly, but my foster doesn't have any cats so not sure about them. I'm house and crate trained and working on my leash skills. I'm short and stocky and perfect for your lap! I love to be hugged and snuggle and I give sweet little kisses. I am a total love bug! I get along with every dog I meet and love to play, but I'd also be ok as an only dog in a home where my people were home and wanted to snuggle with me all day. I need a friend, especially one who loves to snuggle. A home with kids who will dote on me or even dress me up in costumes would be great fun! If your heart is big enough for two newbies, Roo and I together would be fantastic.

Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 or $245 for puppies. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas.
