​Hi all - I'm Jupiter, a handsome and confident kitten (born March 2024) that has a lot of love to give! I'm kind of a “dog-cat” because I like to follow my foster mom around the house or pop up from a nap when she enters the room. I'm a vocal boy and will tell you what I'm thinking, especially when I'm hungry. I use cardboard scratchers and the tall scratcher on the cat tree, I'm also a nimble climber and love to sit up high in the cat tree. I love to cuddle and I even like getting under the covers and snuggling right up next to my person - when my head pops out from under the covers it’s the cutest thing you’ll see all week!  Honestly, I just love being around people and am great with fun kids! I’m a big fan of toys and love playing with other active kittens (the adult cats I've lived with haven’t been particularly fond of energetic youngsters but I can take a hint and steer clear of them). I’ve also lived with nice big dogs and am very good around them. If you’re looking for a confident kitten to join your family and have another fun active kitty that I can pal around with I’d love to audition! Love, Jup

 

The cat adoption fee is $110 (or $175 for two cats). Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Petco Clear Lake store located at 2410 Bay Area Boulevard (at Space Center). All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped.
