Hi, my name is Jelly, an energetic pup that calms easily! My sister Peanut Butter and I were found at a local pet store and a nice employee contacted SCP for help finding me a home - so here I am! I'm still young, estimated DOB 12/24/2022 and probably have some terrier in my ancestry. I'm in a home with other dogs and doing fine. I’m OK when I’m in my kennel, no accidents. I’m indifferent to cats so I’d probably be OK in a home with a kitty. I’m dog friendly. I can be a little shy at first, but warm up quickly. I get along with the 2 young kids I'm living with. They don't mind a hyper and bouncy puppy wanting them to PLAY!!! I'm about 30 pounds of puppy energy and can get into a lot of trouble so you'll need to be willing to give me lots of gentle guidance, so I can learn all those big dog things, like how to behave in a house, how to walk on a leash without pulling, and all those verbal commands every dog should know (Hey, I already know “sit”!). I may even treat people like I treat my sibling with rough play or decide that new pair of shoes or a table leg would make a great chew toy, so a lot of appropriate toys should be in my future. The good news is that with the right training and LOTS of love, I'll be the best addition to your family ever and your best bud.

Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 or $245 for puppies. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas.
