Bobby would prefer a home as an only dog and one that is not an apartment, without cats, & small children

Hi, my name is Bobby and I’m an uber sweet and playful puppy. My buddy Betty and I were found roaming in the parking lot of a hotel. After our rescuers had done everything, and no owners found, they called on SCP to help find us a new forever home. I’ll need an active family that also can provide consistent, loving training and discipline. I'm still young, estimated DOB 2/17/2023 and probably have some pit bull and boxer in my ancestry. I’ll 35 pounds now so there’s a good chance I’ll be a very large dog once I’m full grown. I’m learning so much now that I'm in a home with other dogs and I love to play tug of war with them which sometime can lead to rough play. I like to chase cats so no cats at my new home. I’m friendly with everybody, including kids. I’m learning not to jump on people I meet so my new family should have older considerate kids who wouldn’t get hurt if I jumped on them to give them kisses to show some affection. I'm just a puppy and can get into a lot of trouble so you'll need to be willing to give me lots of gentle guidance, so I can learn all those big dog things, like how to behave in a house, what a crate is for, how to walk on a leash without pulling, and all those verbal commands every dog should know. I may even treat people like I treat my sibling with rough play or decide that a new pair of shoes or a table leg would make a great chew toy, so a lot of appropriate toys should be in my future. The good news is that with the right training and LOTS of love, I'll be the best addition to your family ever and your best bud.

Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 or $245 for puppies. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas.
