Blowfish here. I would like to tell you all about myself. I am a sweet boy who was born around June 2020. I was living in deplorable conditions in a home when I was confiscated by animal control officers. Man, that was super scary. I ended up impounded at a local shelter and a volunteer with SCP saw me. She had to wait until the judge released full custody to the shelter before she could take me in to foster care. I love to purr, roll, and head-butt. I would do best in a home with no other cats as I tend to want to be the boss of everyone. I am fine with nice dogs after getting to know them. I love to play and will fly through the air for a feather toy or laser pointer. I love my person and love to cuddle all the time- my favorite place is on a lap or on a chest. I have cool markings- I am a silver tabby! If you would like to add some serious love to your home, I am your man. I love to shower my person with love- I am VERY loyal and bond strongly. I do like to play in my water bowl so can be a little messy but I love drinking out of a water fountain! There is just something about having plenty of water..... This likely stems from my bad beginnings - not enough food or water. I have been in the program for over a year:( This is primarily due to me getting tired of going back and forth to adoption events - I just want to sleep when I am at Petco and never really show my true sweet purrsonality. Maybe take a chance and come meet me one Saturday at the Clear Lake Petco!

​The cat adoption fee is $110 (or $175 for two cats). Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Petco Clear Lake store located at 2410 Bay Area Boulevard (at Space Center). All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped.
