Dilute Tortoiseshell

Willow is a dilute tortoiseshell/tabby (“torbie”) DSH female born around October 2020. She was saved from a parking lot while dodging around and under cars, she was understandably very scared but once her rescuers got close enough she flopped on her side to be picked up. Now that she’s safe in foster care that’s one of Willow’s favorite things to do – flop on her side and roll back and forth to get you to pet her while she makes air biscuits and purrs the whole time. She’s quite chatty when she’s getting or wanting attention and will greet you with a chirp when you enter the room then happily tell you all about her day. Willow loves hanging around her people while they’re watching TV or reading. She gets along well with other kitties of all ages and is not aggressive at all, she’s not afraid of her foster’s small dogs and mainly ignores them (if they are in the room she will mostly just watch them or wander away). She loves sitting on windowsills watching the birds and plays with toys a little bit but walks away if others want to play. She'd do great with other cats (she's not an alpha at all and would likely be the lowest on the totem pole in the house) but would likely enjoy being someone’s solo princess since she loves attention and affection.

The cat adoption fee is $110 (or $175 for two cats) which includes State of Texas sales tax. Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Petco Clear Lake store located at 2410 Bay Area Boulevard (at Space Center). All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped.
