Labrador Retriever

Mandy is a super sweet lab. She looks as if she is a pure-bred lab. She has lived for the past 4-5 years in less than ideal conditions. She has been over-bred and was severely injured when impounded. She has since had surgery for a broken leg and will need a few more weeks of crate-rest to allow the leg to heal. She is excellent in a crate! She is amazing with other dogs, however, she has no boundaries and might appear "pushy" toward other dogs. She has not yet been exposed to cats. She is very friendly toward everyone she meets. While her leg is healing, her skin is healing as well. She had bad fleas and a yeast infection on her skin. We helped get the surgery this sweet girl needed and now we need to find a foster or a forever home for her. She truly deserves a safe and loving home. Come meet her and you will be very impressed. She is now spayed so no more babies for her! She did, of course, test positive for heartworms, so treatment is in her near future.
