Domestic Short Hair

Brown Tabby

From the minute Katie was born, she was destined to have a very tough life. Her mother was pregnant and was dumped in a church parking lot. She found a place where she had a little bit of shelter from the cold and rain. People fed her and her kittens and the ones they could catch were spayed and neutered and homes were found for most of them, including Katie’s Mom. That only left Katie and her brother. Katie gradually became more friendly. When she was only 9 months old and pregnant, she was rescued by Second Chance Pets. Since then her life has changed for the better. She was able to have her babies the night of the big freeze in Houston in a warm, safe place. She was given the name Kate after Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge. She is married to Prince William who will one day be King and Kate will be Queen. So once a homeless, neglected kitten - Katie is now named after a Queen. She is looking for a home where she will be treated like a Queen. She is a little shy when she first meets someone but she will turn into the most loving cat you have ever seen. She can’t get enough of laying in your lap and having her tummy rubbed. She is still a kitten even though she just had her own 8 kittens. She loves to play and jump around chasing toys. Be a little patient with her until she gets to know you and she will be your best friend and constant companion.
