Domestic Short Hair

Brown Tabby

Hey ya'll, My name is Jambalaya (not too sure why but I just go with it. ) I was born sometime in March of 2021. I was rescued from a small city shelter without a lot of traffic (virtually none). I had lots of siblings and some were rescued by another group. My sister, Etouffee, and I were rescued by nice people with Second Chace Pets! We were the last two of the litter there, sitting in a cage. I am now a very well socialized kitty and my foster mom tells me that I have a very unique and beautiful spotted belly, gorgeous stripes, and a super long tail (I love to curl my tail up into a question mark shape.) Who knows about all of that. All I know is that I love people and I love attention and affection. When I see "my people" I will instantly start to purr and then proceed to climb all over them. I absolutely love to play and will jump 5 feet in the air for a toy. I am a super fun, loving, and sweet kitten. I am great with other cats and live with nice calm medium-sized dogs in my foster home. When you get home from work, I will meow a conversation with you and ask you about your day. I do love iced water so if you get a glass from the kitchen, I will for sure ask you for a sip! Hey, I also know how to play fetch! Please come meet me one day at Petco! I am ready! Love, J

The cat adoption fee is $110 (or $175 for two cats). Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Petco Clear Lake store located at 2410 Bay Area Boulevard (at Space Center). All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped. If interested in one of our cats please feel free to complete an application, found on our website www.secondchancepets.org, and return it to us for pre-review. We do not have a phone number so please email us at pets2adopt@yahoo.com or come visit with us on Saturday!
