Hi there, My name is Hocus Pocus- my foster mom calls me "Pocus." I was rescued from an over-crowded shelter in October, thus the name:) I had been living in a cage for several months and I am FIV positive. This, along with being a black kitty, is definitely not "highly adoptable." SCP ladies came and met me and I charmed them into taking me into foster care:) I am a very gentle and quiet young adult. I live with other kitties VERY well and I love them all. Although I tested positive for FIV, please do not let that scare you away. The only way that FIV can be spread to another kitty is through a serious bite or mating. I am neutered and I would NEVER bite another kitty. I am enjoying all of my kitty friends (Very Much!) and I am hoping someone will be interested in me. I am shy and a little insecure due to a very rocky history moving around a lot. I am seeking a safe and secure forever home. Please come meet me one day - one touch is all it takes:) Love, Pocus

The cat adoption fee is $110 (or $175 for two cats). Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Petco Clear Lake store located at 2410 Bay Area Boulevard (at Space Center). All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped. If interested in one of our cats please feel free to complete an application, found on our website www.secondchancepets.org, and return it to us for pre-review. We do not have a phone number so please email us at pets2adopt@yahoo.com or come visit with us on Saturday!
