Cupid is a big ole baby. He loves to be held and cuddled and will snuggle his head into your neck and purr and purr. He is an older guy who was surrendered to a high volume shelter for an unknown reason. He is likely around eight plus years young and is very grateful to be out of the shelter. He was there for three months but the staff took a liking to him and looked out for him because he is so sweet and gentle. He is a manx and is quite large - his nub of a tail is co cute! He loves any kind of pets, rubs, scratches and snuggles. He is learning to live with multiple cats in his foster home and he loves them! He did test positive for FIV but please don't let that scare you away. Most of our foster homes take in FIV positive kitties if they are good with other kitties. FIV cannot be transmitted unless the cat was to seriously bite or mate with another. Kitties who have FIV can live long healthy loves as long as they are kept safe and healthy indoors. This guy is a prize and very worthy of a loving, forever home to call his own.
The cat adoption fee is $110 (or $175 for two cats) which includes State of Texas sales tax. Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Petco Clear Lake store located at 2410 Bay Area Boulevard (at Space Center). All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped. If interested in one of our cats please feel free to complete an application, found on our website www.secondchancepets.org, and return it to us for pre-approval. We do not have a phone number so please email us at or come visit with us on Saturday!
