Sweet little Carmen was rescued from a gas/oil plant where she was born. Her mama had babies in the welding facility. Her brother is named Lucky and her mama is named Emma. She is ULTRA sweet at home but is a little grumpy at Petco. Her first instinct when fearful is to growl and hiss but at home, she melts to the touch. She loves laps and will make herself quite comfy on you or next to you. At home, she is the most outgoing of her litter and demands tons of attention!

​The cat adoption fee is $110 (or $175 for two cats). Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Petco Clear Lake store located at 2410 Bay Area Boulevard (at Space Center). All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped.
