Blackjack was found in a neighborhood with a skin infection. He has now healed up nicely and is a very handsome boy! Blackjack is great with kids and lives with 3 children in his foster home. His favorite place to sleep in the bed with the 12 year old (who happens to be his favorite)...he loves to cuddle! He still has lots of energy though and likes to play and run around with the kids and family dogs in the backyard. He is great with other dogs and presently lives with a senior Great Dane and a Great Dane puppy with no major issues. He knows basic commands, is crate trained, and is doing very well on a leash. Blackjack has even learned to ignore the cats in the house. He is a bit reserved initially with new people but warms up quickly once he knows you are nice. He is a pretty quiet guy and is looking for his forever family to love.

Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 or $245 for puppies. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas.
